An exhibition is a one-off. A season is nine fixtures against rivals of set difficulty, and once it is under way you are that club's coach until you see it out or restart your career.
A play is called for you each down; change it for any of sixteen, eight on the ground and eight in the air. On a pass, pull back and release to throw — the ball flies the opposite way, and further the harder you pull. On a run, steer the carrier through the blocks.
